What is a DZL boiler in terms of structure and principle?

December 18, 2025
Within the boiler series, the DZL boiler is also known as a horizontal three-pass moving chain grate steam boiler. This boiler primarily uses coal or biomass as fuel to provide steam and heat for industrial production.

Understanding the DZL boiler from a structural and operational perspective: It features threaded fire tubes, a single water drum, and a horizontal shell structure. Its design incorporates a three-pass fire tube configuration with a mixed water-tube/fire-tube combustion layout. The chain grate automatically feeds fuel during operation, with adjustable rolling speeds to accommodate different fuel combustion rates. Additionally, the small-slat chain grate minimizes fuel leakage and facilitates replacement of damaged grate plates. This boiler incorporates specialized dust removal solutions (water film dust collector, bag electrostatic precipitator, dual-tower desulfurization, etc.), achieving zero pollution while enabling automatic feeding and ash removal.
DZL Series Steam Boiler Fuel: Primarily coal, biomass pellets, straw, wood chips, palm shells, rice husks, nut shells, corn cobs, waste wood, etc.
Application Industries: Widely used for heating, steam, or hot water supply in textile, apparel, food and beverage, chemical, cement curing, sterilization, and other industries.
